WATCH: Pinay wins Battle Rounds’ of The Voice USA, Season 7

Another Filipina is making her own mark in the world of reality singing competition but this in the 7th season of The Voice USA.

15-year old Fil-American Katriz Trinidad made it through the dreaded Blind Audition of The Voice USA which was aired only last September 30, watch her audition here. The young singer performed “At Last” by Etta James and she was able to turn three chairs including that of Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams. After series of plea from the judges-mentors, Katriz Trinidad chosen multi-awarded artist Pharrell Williams. In the Battle Rounds which was aired yesterday, October 20, Katriz Trinidad performed “Do I Do” by Stevie Wonder together with Blessing Offer. After their performance, the 15-year old Fil-American won and will continue in the next round and the losing Blessing Offer was stolen by Adam Levine to be in his team.
